Placing an Order for Delivery
Non-perishable items can be sent nationwide and take between 1-4 business days for delivery.
If your order is confirmed and paid for before 12pm Monday to Thursday, we will aim to ship the same day. Orders received after 12pm will be shipped the next business day. Orders received on Friday or the weekend will be shipped on Monday.
All orders to a non-rural address can expect delivery in one to two days after receiving shipping confirmation. This is not guaranteed however, and we do encourage you to contact us if your order is required in a short time frame. Over the Christmas period please allow a few extra days on top of this for delivery.
Please note that for Fruit & Vege Box Deliveries, we receive our fresh produce on a Monday so no orders will be sent out before Tuesday. Any orders for rural delivery must be placed by Tuesday as these will be sent no later than Wednesday to ensure you receive this by the weekend.
Please note that this is NOT a refrigerated service. Brydone Wholefoods cannot guarantee the condition of perishable goods, such as meat, dairy and fresh produce, delivered outside of the Oamaru area. This applies to RURAL deliveries. If you are not sure whether your address is rural please refer to the NZ Post website. Please understand that these are ordered at your own risk.
All orders are sent from our Brydone Wholefoods store.
Overnight delivery for South Island urban areas and drop-off depots.
2 day delivery for North Island addresses.
Please allow 2 additional working days for rural delivery.
As stated above, please do not order perishables for rural addresses.
All costs are quoted in New Zealand Dollars.
Payment can be made by Credit/Debit Card (your card details are safely encrypted and we will not keep details of your card number), Cheque, Bank Deposit, Pick up and Pay.
All orders have a delivery charge, the cost depends on where you live.

Free delivery for orders placed with delivery address within the Oamaru Town Boundary. If you are unsure if you qualify for this, please contact us to discuss.
Waitaki Valley- Lakeline Freight
For Waitaki Valley customers right up through to Twizel. Please note orders must be in by 9am Tuesday for a Wednesday delivery.
$10 for up to 20kg (banana box size)
Otago (including North Otago and Central Otago) & Southland
$10 for up to 15kg
$20.00 for up to 15kg
South Canterbury, Mid Canterbury, Christchurch
$13 for up to 15kg
North Canterbury, West Coast & Upper South Island
$19.50 for up to 10kg
$21 for up to 5kg
Small Package- South of Christchurch
$8.00 for up to 4kg- Typically 2-4 items.
Small Package- North of Christchurch (Including North Island)
$14.00 for up to 4kg- Typically 2-4 items
Rural Addresses: Extra $5 shipping fee.
Please note some heavy items can put freight over the weighted limit and therefore may incur an extra cost.
Special Delivery Instructions
Please enter any special delivery information in "Delivery Instructions" when completing your order at the checkout. This information will be passed onto our courier and driver. Please also include your contact details should the courier driver need to contact you.
Customer Requested Delivery Times
If a specific delivery date is requested, we will endeavour to deliver as close to this date as possible, but this cannot be guaranteed. See delivery schedule above.
Acceptance of Delivery
By signing the courier consignment note, you are accepting that you have received the product and it is in good condition.
Before signing the consignment note, please either inspect the goods or sign the consignment note “Subject to Check”.
Damaged or Lost Goods
Please contact us within seven days if your goods have been damaged in transit.
To assist with any claims, please leave the goods in the damaged packaging as they were delivered.
If you do not receive your goods within the delivery schedule timeframe, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please have your order confirmation on hand as reference.
Delivery of Incorrect Product
If you are sent the wrong product, please notify us immediately and we will arrange for the correct product to be delivered free of charge.
If the incorrect product needs to be returned, we will arrange a courier to collect it at our cost.
Return and Refund Policy
We will meet our obligation under the Consumer’s Guarantee Act 1993.
If you receive a product that is of a poor quality or faulty, please allow us the opportunity to replace the product or substitute it with a better product at our cost.
Refund Procedure for Unavailable Items
When an item is unavailable but paid for at the time of ordering, our team will contact you to arrange a refund for that item. Refunds are made using the original payment method and back to the account from which payment was originally made.
Incorrect Product Ordered
If you order a product in error, a refund will be honoured for the product provided it is returned to us within 14 days of receipt, along with the original invoice in a resalable condition, that is, unopened with packaging intact in original condition.
Returned goods that are received damaged will not be considered for a refund.
